Why APIDir exists
AI API prices are easy to copy and easy to compare incorrectly. Model names hide differences in route, tier, resolution, sound, duration, tokens, cache, and region. APIDir keeps those fields attached.
Initial scope
The launch catalog is video-first: 30 provider records, 10 editorial profiles, 15 monitored model families, five reviews, five curated comparisons, and ten documented integration examples.
What APIDir is not
APIDir is not an inference gateway, benchmark lab, grey-market relay ranking, or pay-to-rank directory. It does not infer private production stacks or publish unsupported revenue claims.
